Bob Johnson incorporates Traditional Watercraft, Inc., today better known as Island Packet Yachts. The company purchases molds for the 26 foot
“Bombay Express” from a local company going out of business. The first “Island Packet” (after 1983 it becomes known as the IP26 Mark I) was created from these molds but with a new interior,
rig and numerous other design details by Bob.
