IP celebrates its 20 Anniversary! The IP420 is introduced replacing the IP40 and IP45. 137 IP40’s were built and 41 of the IP45’s. Bob is presented with the SAIL Magazine Industry Award for Leadership. While cruising in British Columbia, Dick and Ruth Parish aboard Serendipity (IP38-130) become the first known owners to rescue (and temporarily adopt) an injured seal.
